Founded by Jack Sargeant with Holiday Sidewinder, the Decadent Society exists to explore literature, philosophy, poetry, art and creativity that is dedicated to the erotic, perverse, narcotic, magical, imaginary, phantastical, forbidden, rude, spiritual, dangerous and deviant. Each month writers and scholars present talks on their on-going research into these and other areas. These are complimented with performances, ritual feasts and exhibitions of art works.
